mixed media on cradled wood panels

a diptych without the hinges – two 16 x 16 x 1.5 inch panels (cradled wood) adding up to one picture

the string series continues

This is a painting worked over with ink and then sealed with varnish. This is an image subsuming fables and dreams. This is about symbolism. This is somewhere between an illustration and fine art. This is both figurative and expository. This is the last panel in a graphic narrative. This is a painting that presides over an end of a hallway. This is something about determination and endings. This is what happens when I let images rule over words. The end.
